This session provides a focused overview of diabetes-related foot ulcer (DFU) pathophysiology, ADA-recommended screening, management, follow-up, and the four pillars of DFU treatment. Participants then engage in an interactive image-based poll to identify early warning signs across diverse skin tones, followed by a brief live demonstration of proper foot examination techniques. The session features two complex cases, primary prevention and recurrence prevention, to strengthen referral navigation and patient care decision-making.
