Implicit bias can affect provider-patient relationships, interactions, and the care people receive- often influencing decisions around technology access and medication use. Join fellow colleagues for a high energy, interactive workshop that takes a real-world look at how bias shows up in diabetes care. Through hands-on activities and open dialogue, you’ll gain practical tools to recognize bias, strengthen clinical engagement, and develop meaningful solutions. Be prepared to roll up your sleeves and collaborate with your colleagues. While the content may be sensitive, we are committed to creating a safe, respectful and solutions-focused environment where everyone can speak freely and learn together.
This workshop does not offer continuing education (CE) credit and will be held at the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown Hotel (ADCES25 Headquarter Hotel).
