Adrienne Maye, RN, BSN, CDCES, is a registered nurse specializing in diabetes education, population health, and chronic disease management. She is the author of Beating the Sugar B.E.A.S.T.™: Lifestyle Management for People of Color Living with Diabetes and founder of Moving Forward with Diabetes Management, LLC.
Adrienne serves as a Community Engaged Research Committee Member at the Morehouse School of Medicine, with a primary focus on the Family Diabetes Self-Management Education and Support (Family DSMES) Project. She also serves as Education Lead for the Association of Diabetes Care & Education Specialists Georgia Coordinating Body. An ADCES Entrepreneurship Community of Interest “I Am Making a Difference” Award recipient, she delivers evidence-informed diabetes education through her signature online course, Take Charge and Balance, empowering individuals to confidently manage diabetes and sustain meaningful lifestyle change.
