Nancy D'Hondt is a clinical pharmacist and a certified diabetes care and education specialist at Henry Ford St. John Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan. With over 25 years of experience in the diabetes field, Nancy has contributed to both local and national initiatives, serving on committees for organizations such as the ADA, JDRF, AHA, ADCES, CBDCE, and DLC.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. In 2008, she became a Certified Diabetes Educator, and in 2011, she was recognized as a Fellow of ADCES. Nancy D'Hondt is the immediate past Board Chair for the Certification Board for Diabetes Care and Education and currently serves as Board Chair for the Diabetes Leadership Council.
