This session explores why high‑achieving clinicians are especially vulnerable to self‑doubt and how these internal narratives can limit professional impact. Participants learn practical, evidence‑informed strategies to recognize imposter patterns, reframe limiting beliefs, and build a more grounded sense of competence. Through relatable examples and actionable tools, the session empowers attendees to strengthen their professional presence and return to their practice with renewed clarity and confidence.

Learning Objectives:

At the completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

Define Imposter Syndrome, explore its origins and characteristics, and recognize its impact on high-achieving individuals in professional settings.
Identify key characteristics and symptoms of Imposter Syndrome, including the Imposter Cycle, perfectionism, fear-based behaviors, and emotional impacts.
Describe individualized treatment approaches for Imposter Syndrome, including counseling, CBT, psychotherapy, and strategies promoting self-reflection and accomplishment.
