(P108) Efficacy And Safety of Weekly Insulin Efsitora Alfa Using a Fixed Dose Regimen Compared to Insulin Glargine in Insulin-Naïve Adults with T2D

This poster describes QWINT-1, a 52-week Phase 3, parallel-design, randomized controlled trial that investigated the efficacy and safety of once-weekly insulin efsitora alfa using a straightforward fixed-dose regimen, compared to once-daily glargine in insulin-naïve adults with type 2 diabetes. Efsitora had similar HbA1c reductions to glargine with lower rates of clinically meaningful hypoglycemia. This simple fixed-dose regimen for efsitora could facilitate insulin treatment and reduce injection burden compared to traditional titration of daily basal insulins.
