Gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) is on the rise worldwide. Achieving and maintaining optimal glycemic management with GDM is challenging. Given the growing adoption of continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) in GDM, there is a need to develop best practices. Our poster highlights Weill Cornell Medicine's Virtual GDM Program, which incorporates CGM to help empower individuals to make personalized lifestyle adjustments and inform timely treatment decisions. We’ll present findings from our quality improvement study over fourteen months on CGM satisfaction and use. Attendees will learn practical strategies for incorporating CGM into GDM care, including patient education and enhancing interdisciplinary collaboration for better outcomes.
