Medicaid beneficiaries have historically experienced barriers to accessing continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) devices due to coverage limitations, fragmented supply chains, and structural challenges. This poster discusses a study that explores these gaps by evaluating real-world healthcare utilization and cost outcomes among Medicaid beneficiaries with diabetes who received CGM devices and supplies through either DME or pharmacy channels. Findings from this work may help clinicians, CGM prescribers, and payors understand how CGM distribution models influence patient access, continuity of care, and utilization trends.
