Registered Dietitian Children's Hospital at Montefiore White Plains, New York, United States
Despite the proven effectiveness of the Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP), dissemination remains limited among low-income populations. This poster shares preliminary findings from the INCLUDE study, which tested culturally tailored DPP videos supplemented with biweekly calls from community health workers and fresh produce delivery/pick up. Attendees will gain insights into the design and implementation of the intervention, as well as strategies for overcoming cultural and socioeconomic barriers to diabetes prevention.
