Continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) is a rapidly growing technology for managing diabetes. It has given people with diabetes (PWD) a better tool to more effectively achieve or improve glycemic management and decrease health complications. Despite these benefits, CGM has not been uniformly adopted by PWD and health care professionals (HCPs). For PWD, competence with technology, literacy, language, and cost can be barriers to CGM use. For HCPs, there may be concerns and difficulties integrating CGM use into their workflows. This poster addresses the evidence regarding successful CGM education.
